This pressure also keeps the stainless nature of the steel intact. Products that can be made using carbide drawing die are mainly pipes and rods.

The last category is made of specialty dies. As suggested by the name, you can make special products from steel using this type of die. Just like the other types, tungsten carbide is used in this process. Specialty dies can be further categorized into three. The three sub-groups are shaving dies, thread dies and swaging dies. These dies often remove any defects on the surface of steel hence enabling for creating of special equipment using the steel. Special applications can be traced to the creation of threads in to screws and bolts to achieve better effects. Generally, the importance of carbide in manufacturing cannot be overemphasized.
